The Argentine Aircraft Factory Brigadier San Martín (FAdeA) has signed an agreement with the Brazilian company Akaer , which will allow it to participate in the manufacture of components for the D328eco , the new version of the turboprop regional transport aircraft designed from the Dornier 328 .
The D328eco , being developed by Deutsche Aircraft , aims to offer an efficient regional passenger transport solution. Smitha, the German company, plans to produce up to 500 units over a 15-year period , representing a significant opportunity for FAdeA and Akaer.
Furthermore, the possibility of adapting the aircraft for military use is being considered, which could further expand the potential market for this model.
The contract includes the production of a package of metal parts , ensuring FAdeA 's ability to integrate into the supply chain of one of the most ambitious initiatives in the industry today .

It's worth mentioning that Javier Milei's government is seeking to divest this company , as it is with other national companies, although in this case , a transfer to the provincial government of Córdoba is being considered . However, the Presidency is also considering seeking foreign investment.
