Navitas Petroleum reopens its website for Argentina and displays the map of oil plunder in the Malvina Islands

The Israeli oil company, a partner in the illegal British oil extraction project in the Malvina Islands, has reopened access to its website for Argentina. There, it details its control of 65% of the illegal Sea Lion project and confirms that the first crude oil extraction will take place in March 2028. Throughout the technical and logistical description, the corporation completely ignores Argentina's claim and national laws.

In a clear act of impunity and geopolitical provocation, the Israeli oil company Navitas Petroleum has reopened access to its official website, https://www.navitaspet.com/, for users accessing it from Argentina , after having blocked the country between 2022 and 2026. Far from maintaining the low profile or prudence that used to surround companies operating clandestinely in our basins, the Tel Aviv-based holding company decided to openly and with surgical precision display the entire scheme of the plunder it plans to carry out on the Argentine continental shelf.

The publication on the corporate website is a confession on their part. While the San Martín Palace accumulates press releases and sterile speeches in UN committees, Navitas details that the Sea Lion Northern development project, located some 220 kilometers north of the Malvina Islands (under the illegitimate licenses PL032 and PL004b), has already passed the Final Investment Decision (FID). This means that the corporation already has all the necessary colonial regulatory approvals and, crucially, the financing secured to move forward without hindrance toward the first oil extraction, ratified for March 2028 .

The numbers of theft on the Argentine continental shelf

The technical information that the Israeli company itself officially disseminates reveals the magnitude of the Argentine resources they intend to liquidate :

Engineering plunder: Staged drilling and deregulation

The digital document, now publicly available in Argentina, confirms the phased operational strategy that Javier Milei's government is unable to block . Phase 1 involves the initial drilling of 11 underwater wells , which will be directly connected to a relocated and modernized factory ship (FPSO). Three years after the first barrel is produced in 2028, Phase 2 will be activated, adding another 12 underwater wells to the clandestine industrial complex.

In keeping with its disregard for Argentine regulations, Navitas ' website makes all the project's key documentation available to its international investors: the Environmental Impact Statement, the socioeconomic impact assessments, and the technical social impact report for phases 1 and 2. However, throughout the oil company's entire discursive and corporate framework , there is not a single line, asterisk, or comment mentioning the diplomatic dispute between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the sovereignty of the islands. For the holding company of the Casa Rosada's main political ally, Argentine criminal law and United Nations resolutions simply do not exist.

The cynicism of "friendly" diplomacy

The opening of Navitas's website for Argentina represents the final act of dissimulation in the libertarian administration's foreign policy . Just a few weeks ago, the Israeli ambassador in Buenos Aires offered a tepid defense, arguing that the Israeli state lacks the means to intervene because Navitas is a "private company." Today, the private company itself is publicly displaying how it will siphon off resources meant for future generations of Argentinians in collusion with the British occupier.

The factual proof of the failure and complicity of the press-room triumphalism . While the Argentine Foreign Ministry celebrates the perfunctory applause at the Committee on Decolonization , Navitas operates with the ease of someone who knows he is above the law and displays it on his website. He knows that the Argentine president declares himself an admirer of Margaret Thatcher , he knows that the government is begging for arms deals with London, and he knows that global financial markets are giving it the green light.
