New Shacman trucks for the Argentine Army thanks to a Chinese donation

These are five 6x6 units designed to offer logistical support, including power generation and water purification. The units will be destined for the Pigué Logistics Support Base, and are part of a total donation of 30 trucks made in 2021.

The units include a modular emergency hospital, with a 206 kW engine and a rugged design, for rapid response and assistance operations.

The Argentine Army has received a new batch of Shacman 2190 trucks, donated by the government of the People's Republic of China . These vehicles, which include various modules for logistical support in the field, will be assigned to the Pigué Logistics Support Base , in order to enhance the operational capabilities of the Tenth Mechanized Brigade "Lieutenant General Nicolás Levalle" .

The new equipment consists of five 6×6 trucks , each of which is equipped with modules that allow for power generation, water purification, and kitchen facilities , as well as bathroom and shower services. This delivery is part of a total of 30 trucks that were donated by China in 2021 , along with a modular hospital manufactured by the Kangfei company.

Shacman 2190 trucks, which are based on the Steyr 91 chassis , are equipped with a 9.76-litre Weichai WD615-77A diesel engine , which provides a maximum power of 206 kW . Their robust design and load capacity allow the installation of different modules , giving them great versatility to meet various logistical needs in the field.
