The Secretary of the Malvinas, Antarctica, South Atlantic Islands and International Affairs, Andrés Dachary together with the Undersecretary of Geopolitical Affairs, Carlina Lavori and War Veterans of Ushuaia and Rio Grande presented on behalf of the Government of the Land of Fire, Antarctica and the Islands South Atlantic a recognition to the representative of Paraguay at the embassy of the neighboring country in Buenos Aires, Juan Ramón Cano Montania, for the support of the Paraguayan people to Argentina's sovereign claim to the Malvina Islands.

The acts of gratitude to the peoples that accompany the Argentine claim of sovereignty over the Islands take place within the framework of the 40th anniversary of the Malvinas War.
